Adoptable Pet of the Week: Puppies!!!

These sweet babies were taken in by a local who had been feeding their very scared mama near Ultrastar. (with the kind help of the Ak Chin Animal Care & Control Officer.) Unfortunately Mama was very malnourished & dehydrated and once her babies were safe, she no longer had the will to live. She passed peacefully and now her pups (both males & females) are in the capable hands of foster mom (Tiffany Gunter) who is helping socialize them and getting them to/from vet for care. They will be fully vaccinated, microchipped & spayed/neutered prior to adoption. They are approx 5lbs each now and we anticipate they will be closer to mama’s size at 40-50 lbs. They are doing well with housebreaking!
